Fiona Pakonis, MD
Dr. Fiona Pakonis has over 13 years experience as a pediatrician, treating children from newborns to age 21. She has owned and operated Koala Pediatrics since July, 2019.
Fiona fell in love with medicine and has known she wanted to be a doctor since she was 5. Fiona studied a Bachelor of Science at Murdoch University (Western Australia) and went on to study medicine at St Georges University in Grenada. Fiona completed her pediatric residency at Westchester Medical Center, New York. She is Board-Certified.
Fiona met her now husband in medical school, leading her to finish her medical studies in the US. Fiona is busy balancing a pediatrics practice and three active kids aged 16, 14 and 12.
Fiona’s concern for her patients empowers her to be an enthusiastic, caring pediatrician who gives patients her undivided attention to improve their physical and mental well-being.
